API 6D Plug Valve Description
API 6D plug valve is a valve designed for long-distance oil and gas pipelines. It complies with API 6D standard (latest 23rd edition). Its core function is to achieve reliable cutoff and flow control of high-pressure pipelines. It is suitable for onshore/submarine pipeline systems.
DIB type : Single valve seat bidirectional seal, valve seat independently isolates medium (higher safety redundancy).
Metal hard seal : The plug surface is hard chrome plated (hardness >= HRC60), resistant to particle erosion.
Grease injection system (optional): Inject sealing grease to enhance high-pressure sealing.

API 6D standard requirements
The valve body material must be resistant to sulfur corrosion (in compliance with NACE MR0175);
Full port design (Full Port) or reduced port design (Reduced Port) must be clearly stated.
Shell strength test : 1.5 times the nominal pressure;
Seal test : High and low pressure bidirectional seal leakage rate <= ISO 5208 F grade;
Fire safety certification : Passed API 607 fire test

Maintenance-free: The fully welded valve body has no external leakage points and is suitable for direct buried/submarine pipelines;
